Stress Test 2011
Helaba publishes its results of the EBA stress test (April 2011) in the format defined by EBA and on the Authority's Templates. The results shown include the measures bindingly agreed upon and publicly announced on 28 April 2011 by the owners of Helaba for restructuring and adapting the silent participations in the amount of EUR 1.92 billion to the Basel III criteria. Consequently, Helaba reports a Core-Tier-1-Ratio of 6.8 per cent in the Results Box "C" (Template "Aggregate Information and Evolution of Capital"). From the point of view of the EBA, the silent participation by the State of Hesse would have to be reported together with the "non-hardened silent participations" in Results Box "D". This alone expresses the different positions maintained by Helaba and the European Banking Authority (EBA) in the stress test procedure.
